Services We Provide & How We Can Help

Children and teens benefit from therapy when they are having a tough time navigating difficult situations, coping with a change / transition, have trouble identifying and processing their emotions, and when problems affect how they feel and act. Read these probing questions below to see if any of these scenarios resonate for you. If so, please contact us to discuss next steps to reaching brighter days as a family.

Does your child struggle with anxiety? Does your child’s anxiety leave you feeling helpless? Is it difficult to find the right words to help calm your child’s mind and take away their worries?

Does your child have really BIG feelings that come on strongly and sometimes feel hard to predict and manage? Do you as a parent struggle with helping your child manage these emotions? Is it hard for you to remain calm when your child is having a meltdown or a tantrum?

Does your child have trouble making or keeping friends? Do they struggle with having low self-esteem? Are they scared to try new things for fear of making a mistake?

Are you in the throes of parenting a tween and realizing how difficult it can be to keep up with their ever changing emotions and a social world so different from when you were growing up? Do you struggle to know how to help them or even connect with them? When you offer advice or suggestions, do they tell you that you “just don’t understand”?

As a parent, do you feel lost and helpless when trying to get your child the help they need in school? As former School Counselors we will use our experience to help you get your child the support they need to be successful in school.

As a parent, do you find yourself exhausted from trying to manage all of your children’s emotions? Is your child challenging your rules and boundaries? Do you find yourself easily frustrated and quick to get angry at your child? When this happens do you find yourself having feelings of shame and guilt for reacting to your child in a way that is not helping the situation or them?

you know until they know how
much you care”
